We at "Wrench Mob" grew up
in the garage, with the desire to make anything and everything faster, cooler,
louder, or simply different. Whether we were skateboarding, hitting jumps on
BMX bikes, into music, doing some art-work, or kick'n it with friends, growing
up in Southern California during the 80’s and 90’s a bunch of us became part of
a lifestyle that had such an impact that it will never die. Gangs were
everywhere-the hood, the city, even middle suburbia. Many had adapt to the
environment. Some would find an escape in the garage creating. We were always
seen rocking independent fashion/graphic brands, we just had cars and
high-performance parts piled up around us. Despite its emphasis on power and
performance, a dope ride has also always been a social statement, having to do
with self-reliance, ingenuity and ultimately independence.
After years of learning the in's and out's of the automotive performance industry, while still chipping away at a build, we recognized a void in the community and it hit us… "Wrench Mob"! The concept was easy, "Wrench", cars, racing, late nights, dreaming, drinking, art, fabrication, drama, friends etc. And "Mob", those who participate in this lifestyle united. From the early hot-rods, to low riders, euro's, and imports, to modern muscle, we all have one thing in common, turning a "Wrench". Welcome to the real "Wrench Mob"!
